I'm taking my kids and our teardrop to Verlot over memorial weekend. We are also camping just outside of rainier on weekend of June 14th. Silver something campground on 410

I'm a month or so away from being waterproof and road ready, but after July 1st I'll be ready to go!

Silver Springs CG off 410 is a nice campground, has flush toilets too on the top end.

I am working on getting into the Cascades either up near Lake Wenatchee or up the Entiat.

I love the Lake Wenatchee area. Heading up in early August for that area.

If all goes according to plan, I will be taking delivery of my little gem on Saturday, June 1 -- and will promptly be heading to Tolt-McDonald County Campground ( http://www.kingcounty.gov/recreation/pa ... onald.aspx ) to spend Saturday & Sunday night there with another friend who recently got a travel trailer. I have stayed at this campground before and I must say it is a well kept secret. Lots of amenities and very nice trailer spots - lots of privacy. My teardrop will be a 6X10 Little Guy Silver Shadow on a Rough Rider frame -- I am very excited about it and have been lurking for a while. I had to wait for my trailer - since it is a little off the beaten path. I also have a weekend in June at Lincoln Rock State Park near Wenatchee -- I just tent camped there and it was GORGEOUS!! Had never been there and can't wait to get my trailer over there!!!

Hope to meet some fellow PNW Teardroppers.........and hope to have some pics to post the weekend of June 1......

Got my TD and LOVE it -- had her out for her "shakeout" voyage!! Was at Tolt-McDonald Park (Carnation, WA) this past W/Th. I will be at Alpine RV in Marblemount, WA (along the Skagit River on Hwy 20) next weekend - leaving after work Friday and staying til Sunday mid-morning. I bet there are some spots -- have not been there but read nice things about the park and they have elec/water/restrooms/showers.

This thread seems to have gone dormant -- I really liked the idea of posting "spur of the moment" trips and whatnot.....

We will be at salmon la sac this weekend and plan on driving up the fortune creek trail during the day on Saturday.

If you are headed into a particular area then call the Ranger Station First. One roads by Lake Wenatchee was closed a couple of weeks for Logging and you couldn't get to a large section of camping. You could camp by the Lake in one of the big camp grounds but getting to the free campgrounds was impossible.
