Tom and Danny,

We just got a "57' Modernaire td last fall. We're doing a little remodeling on it, but you're welcome to come out and look it over. We live in Spanaway, and you welcome any time Except this Saturday, we have a muzzle loader shoot to go to.
Let me know when and we'll give you directions.

Herb

:D Hi Herb, How did that p-lam work for you? I'd love to see your teardrop. I've been working on ( wiring ) mine for the last 3 days and my neck could use a rest.

Hi Danny,
I have'nt used the formica yet. The td is in a HF portable garage in the drive way and it's just been too wet to work on it. It's got to stop raining sometime, it did for Noah.

Let me know when you want to come over.

Herb

Herb,

Would love to see the TD should have ours by month end, maybe we can get together, seems to be more then a few people here from the South Sound (ok, maybe even North.) I was looking at Harbor Freight for a portable garage for ours, but no luck yet. Does seem to rain Now and Then around here huh?

Close, hoping for a little smaller as I am in the heart of Tacoma, not a lot of free space! Was thinking of making a temporary one til I can get the garage cleared out, just hate to see the VW go.....

Herb, How do you like you HF portable garage. I just bought the same one I think ($127 with coupon). I haven't put it together yet so I don't know anything about it. Thanks, Jim.

hf garage

Postby Toms_Strat » Thu Jan 19, 2006 8:27 pm

Herb,

Could the garage be modified to be a bit shorter? If I take up the whole back patio the wife may shoot me! If so I may just have to head for HF..... I have not even picked up the TD yet, and we are already planning a few trips to test it out! Millersylvania in April! I am betting on rain....

Jim,
I like the portable garage alot. Our td is about 7' wide so there is not a lot of room on each side but it fits. It took my wife and less than two hours to put it all up, wasn't hard.
