Okay!
It is time!
We need to know who will be joining us this year for the trip to the Shasta Lake Gathering, and stopping in Union Gap (Yakima) Wa.
for the 3rd annual "On Our Way Gathering" at the Ag Museum.
This is a no host, informal weekend which allows those that want to caravan south to meet up, and those that want to have a short campout weekend with us, to gather together!
As it is the first campout of the year for most of us, it gives us a chance to get the TD ready for the upcoming season and see our TD friends after a long cold winter.
We sure hope you can join us this year if you live in the PNW.
If not this time.......sometime during the 2017 Camping Season.......as there are plenty of opportunities!
Please let me know if you are able to meet us at the Gap!

was given the "OK" to go today by the doctor - am almost loaded up and ready to go. Was putting the finishing touch on the new Binford "Dutch Oven Transport" walker today - will be testing it in Union Gap. Just hope it's drier on the east side than it has been here - rain, rain, rain. will be bringing side tarps for some protection if by chance the real 'Butt Hut' is a no show along with the Flame Dancer. Ted

Lose one gain one, lose one gain two,.............and then there are the undecided and those who think surprise is fun????
Hope to see as many of our PNW TD Camping friends as we can on our way to Shasta.

At least in Northern California, the weather is supposed to start getting warmer and drier in a few days. Some morning showers are predicted for Thursday, April 27th. Other than that, not too bad!

My plans have sort of firmed up. I plan to be at Union Gap for the weekend. I'll have to go home sometime Sunday and then on Monday head up to Colville to help my brother for a couple of days. He had shoulder surgery after a fall on ice this winter. He's laid up for several weeks so needs some help getting yard and garden stuff done. I'll leave from his place on Wednesday to beeline to Shasta - probably get there on Thursday.

So that's probably TMI, but at least you can keep counting me for Union Gap.

So, we will talk at the Ag.
But you have to keep a watchful eye out for Lorne & Claudia if you decide to take 395??
Or will you cut down thru Davenport & Herrington to 90, then west to the vantage bridge and down thru Sunnyside to Toppenish and down 97 from there??
Or is it easier drive to go south to Spokane then all the way on 395 to Burney and come into Shasta via Redding from the south??

Don't worry about Daisy.....I think she rides up front now in plain view.

I'll come down 395 / I-82 down to I-84, West to Biggs and then south on 97. Might stay at The Cove Wednesday night.

Have no fear about Daisy anyone. I can't get out of her sight when travel preps are happening.

Looking forward to seeing everyone. The winter has been too long.
