Certainly not! Tent, sleep in your car, build an igloo or a $450,000 pusher with 4 slide outs. It's all good.

I am pretty sure I am going to get a yurt, but will not be for many months. :D

Rob:
Just saw your note about 1000 springs- give them a call and see if they are open- with heat and showers. If so, we might just make it!

I'll call them tomorrow. I read somewhere that they are open all year except Mondays. I also checked on group rates.

I, too was disappointed with 3 Island crossing State Park with the restrooms being closed.

Here's the deal. After Loren's report of closed restrooms at Three Island Crossing, I went on a road trip. Idaho Freezeout has chosen a new location.

We dropped by there today- nice place! The pool temp was 94 and the facility is quite clean and nice. There is a small room off the pool that we can use for sitting around and getting warm. There is a discount for campers and the cost for seniors is cheap! Three of the sites have water, all except the tent areas have power. So, depending on the weather (which the lady at the desk would not guarantee) we may just show up!

Loren, I really appreciate your willingness to take a couple of road trips and your reports. Cindy and I stayed at 1000 Springs a while back and found the sound of falling water from the spring across the river to be be just what the doctor ordered. It was so pleasant. I'm looking forward to a great weekend.

Might be on our list if there is electric , dear wife has circulation problems and can't handle cold well. Seems to be a moving target and I can't get a handle on where it is actually going to be? Oops looks like it is going to be 1000 springs , is that correct? Lee and Norma Twin Falls, Idaho

We just received some sad news of the death of Cindy's step mother. Cindy will be flying out soon to spend some time with her dad and attend the funeral. We are putting our camping plans on hold. Not sure if any are planning on 1000 Springs this weekend but if you do, have a great time. Any who want to postpone a couple of weeks I'm up for that.
