Thank you, Randy!

Such beautiful country. Friday night's campsite was amazing. And I loved the amazing variety of bird life at Locomotive Springs. Pelicans will always bring a smile to my face. Thank you everyone for great campfire talk. Nice to get to meet some of you for the first time and to get better acquainted with those I had already met.

It was fun to be at the big doings of the 150th Golden Spike Celebration. Probably won't make it for the 200th. Those Mormons really know how to fill a valley with music!

So glad I was able to join all of you for a a few days.

Have any of you heard from capnTelescope? There has been a lot of flooding down his way and am wondering if how he did. Are Private Messages working?

He lives about 25 miles from me. The flooding is here and gone pretty rapidly. Judging by his facebook posts, he messed around in New Mexico for a bit and should be home about now.
Holy cow, Rose is a teenager now! Done? Surely you jest. A teardrop is never "done".

Made it home just fine, thank you all for asking. :D  No flood worries, and the backyard fence blew down before I left, unlike a couple years ago, when a part blew over while I was out and about.

Thank you, Randy, for another great Mordor expedition. It was mighty fine seeing "old" acquaintances again, and getting to meet new faces.

After leaving you I headed to Ogden to see the Big Boy, but he was gone. Caught up with him in Evanston, WY, and saw him in action the next day. Then Canyonlands NP, the scenic route thru SW Colorado, Mesa Verde NP and headed to the barn.

Pix to follow...
I'll burn that bridge when I come to it.
