Maiden trip

Postby Toms_Strat » Fri Mar 24, 2006 6:20 pm

As I pulled our trailer out around to the front of the house the Hail let up (A good sign that we should go camping). I have been trying to get all the "stuff" loaded before Momma gets off work... BUT, every time I walk out front a neighbor walks up or a car stops to ask about it. "Not for sleeping is it?" Seems to be the #1 question.

Now, if we can get on the road and you happen to be on I-5 between Tacoma and MIllersylvania state park tonight after 5pm, please, wave, offer encouragement, pray for a bit of dry weather...... Will post pics and an update on our return. Until then, have a great weekend!!!

Hey Tom,

Looks like it was still pretty cold out there... But in spite of the cold, did you have a good time?

Mike,
It was rather chilly, along with wet, but we had a GREAT time. Besides, two adults and one small dog in the trailer kept us plenty warm at night!

Hey guys,

You should have gone to the Kitsap area (Kitsap Memorial State Park), no rain.

Maybe we will hook up sometime.

Maiden trip . . . .

Postby rooster » Tue Mar 28, 2006 3:45 pm

Tom, Millersylvania Stake Park was a favorite place for me to camp, on the ground back when . . . . glad you both had a nice time with your new toy.

Jim, :)
Beware of what she wishes....especially with that twinkle in her eye and that mischievious smile....you know it's gonna cost....

Hiya Jim,

We have loved that place for a close easy to fight traffic on holiday weekend park, and will likely hit it up a few more times this year. Still planning on meeting up when you come through this way?
