Hi,
I'm there a couple 3 times a month. We have a membership at Ocean mist and leasure time resorts. It's a great place to camp during the summer. Maybe we will see you there.

Super. I used to spend a lot of time at ocean shores before work took all my time. I make those huge kites and fly them there. I miss doing that. It will be good to get back to whats important. :)

Will Ocean Mist allow drop ins for a nightly fee?

Just the mention of the shore and I am in!! :applause: :applause:
We head for Twin Harbors park near Westport whenever we can. In fact, we will be there this Friday! Just name the date.....

BTW, Welcome fellow Tacoman! If you need to see a trailer just let us know.

Hi Nightcap,

The Ocean mist resort is a member only campground, But there are a few in the area that charge by the night.

Tom,

We had a comp at westport (Greyland) last weekend that I had to miss. I'm hoping to have the teardrop ready for this Friday to go somewhere. I haven't had any time to get it done yet.

:(

So who is gonna set this Ocean retreat up? We spent another weekend at twin harbors, I am hooked on that area!! :)

Ron: A friend of mine is letting me borrow a two line kite as Jackie is drooling to try it. We missed out on reserving by the coast for my next long weekend so are gonna try Manchester state park, never been before?!?

Valerie: Congrats on the new trailer! :applause: :applause: It looks really nice! What part of the sound are you located?

Anyhow, lets hit the beach!!!!!!

Hey Tom,
Did you get a chance to fly that kite? I still haven't got the tear drop done yet, We have had to many things going on, But I'm going to try and get it finished by this Friday so I can use it in a couple weeks.

I have been to Manchester state park (did a drive thru) Very nice place to camp it looks like. I work at the Manchester military base every once in a while.

We are headed to Califorina this comming Friday, Will be gone for 7 days. (not taking the teardrop) Leaving San Diago the folling Friday, And driving straight thru To Ocean shores for comps on Sat.

The following Friday we will be at WSIKF in long beach for comps. Then off to Whidbey Island, Then Iowa for nationals.

Then I will have time for some camping I hope. :?

Camping on the penisula

Postby dahoon » Mon Aug 07, 2006 11:55 pm

We are going camping at the Port Angeles KOA. I plan on doing some recon to find a places less expensive.

To throw my two cents in for Bayview State Park or even Fort Casey would be a cool place to meet.

I can check around up here in the north sound for other locations.

Hi,
Just returned from Seaside, Or. Spent 2 days in the tear drop and had a blast. It rained the first night, (glad i wasn't tenting it) And the tear pulled awesome.
Off to Whidbey island next friday for the weekend (Ft. Casey) Can't wait for the fun. :)

My tear is taking a bit longer than I expected but I am wondering if there is winter camping at ocean shores. Is anyone crazy enough? I am hoping to get my tear done this winter.
