9th Great Beaver State Teardrop Campout

Postby JunkMan » Wed Jul 12, 2006 9:07 pm

Is anyone on the list going to the 9th Great Beaver State Teardrop Campout - August 18-20, 2006? Odie & I are planning to drive out from South Dakota, but haven't heard anyone else mention going.

I still have quite a bit to do on my tear, but hopefully will have it ready in time. OK, maybe not finished, but usable

I can relate. We originally wanted to go to the IRG, but had a conflict with scheduling at work, so decided to try the Oregon meet, since we could work it into our schedule, and had pretty much decided on visiting the west coast.

We hoped it would be a pretty good meet, and that we could actually meet some of the forum members face to face, :shake hands: but we haven't heard anyone mention it, so now wonder if anyone on the board will be there.

I'm still debating if I can make it up there, It's only a half days drive from here so it's doable. It's mostly up to whether I make it out to Bonneville this year, I won't be able to do both.

Junkman, I may try to make that one. I'm pretty busy so if not for the whole thing, a least one night.

We went last year for the first time. Camp Lane is a really nice spot and the people were great. Definitely going again this year.

Jerome

bledsoe3,

We're actually going to be in Portland for a few days after the TD meet. My folks have a reunion that they are going to the following weekend in Portland, and we are going to meet them there. Plan to see the coast and Mt St Helens between the TD meet and when my folks arrive on Wednesday. We're thinking of staying at Champoeg State Park.

We're not going to make it, didn't get the Tear finished. :( Instead of driving out that way we are going to fly up to Portland next week.

Would like to hook up with you bledsoe3, if you are going to be around. We'll be tent camping at Milo Mciver park the 23rd - 26th, then will probably head up towards Mt St Helens for a couple of days.
