Looks like we will be pulling in late tonight. We had a lot of people call in sick today. Hopefully we still can make it.

Final count....over 60 trailers and over 100 people. It would seem that a great time was had by one and all. We reserved the same site for next year. The first weekend in March. I think it is the 1st thru the 4th. Pictures from this year will come later.

TearJerkers is a great camping club! But some people are just not 'club' kinda people! I LOVE gatherings where the club members mix with the non-club members and EVERYONE who enjoys camping has a GREAT TIME!!!!

That is what happened this last weekend in Mesa.... What an awesome time for so many people from so many different states in so many different kinds of vehicles, from our beloved teardrops, to vintage standies, to canned hams, and even small rv's.... Food, friends, kids and dogs!!!!! I for one had such a good time!!!!

Thank you Steve! for such a terrific time!!!! You ARE an amazing person and did a great job as Director and organizer.... look forward to camping together soon!

Lee, It was great meeting you, your wife and son! I enjoyed our time together and know that the AZ chapter is in great hands! I look forward to seeing you down the road!!!!

The 'Spring Clean' was an awesome gathering... to see the AZ directors, past and future and it's banner, my Rocky Mtn banner, the Indiana members and banner and have the Nevada directors all at the same gathering was so NEAT!!!!

Come camp with me in Colorado!!!!!

Spring Clean Gathering

Postby js.mason » Tue Mar 08, 2011 11:41 am

I would like to send out a big thank you to all who attended the 5th Annual Spring Clean Gathering in Mesa, Az. There were 7 states represented with a total of 62 trailers and 2 tent campers. The weather was great accept for the wind early Saturday morning. We all enjoyed a great pot luck, the food was fantastic. A special thanks to John Long and Texas Bill Knox the the camp fire music Friday and Saturday evenings. The singing was fantastic.

I would also like to let every one know this was my last gathering as director of the TearJerkers Arizona Chapter. I have passed the baton to Mr. Lee Shaw. I know Lee will do a excellent job as the new director. Again thank you all so very much for a great time this year and for the past 5 years. :D

Thank you Steve for a great job the past five years. The Mesa gathering has always been one to look forward to for an awesome good time. Having attended four of the five gatherings, I really appreciate all you have accomplished.
