Too bad his name wasn't TUD, then of course the logical combo would be "STUD".

No, I swear it didn't take me two days to come up with that.

Quick riddle that is somewhat off topic but relative enough:

To build a teardrop in 4 months, which would be higher?

The stack of materials for the build itself?

OR

The pile of Sudafed (or refined form  ) necessary to expedite?

After a few more beers his name was Rhonda. STHONDA?

Haha! Very funny.

For the record - I could only build on one day per weekend for those 4 months. So that almost qualifies as 'A month of Sundays...' and it's no where near 'done' - it's just a legal/camp-able roller. The bright side is that I fixed the tail lights. :)

Dano - can you post a link to a larger version of the two photos of me towing in front of you as we exited TI? Those are great! Thanks for posting the photos.

Chaz - Thanks for all the hospitality. You and Steve were great neighbors for my first camp-out. Couldn't have hoped for better neighbors. Oh, and regarding Rhonda. I think she was more partial to you than she was me. That may have been because you had the bottle of single malt. ;)

Hope to see you all soon,
Ted

I dont know what you guys and the single malt did to Rhonda after I hit the rack, but she was wandering around looking for a cup of coffee early in the morning.

Remember she had a tall glass of vino at 9 am. I stopped by her studio in the afternoon and her art work maybe an odd taste to digest.
Not many sales for her vinyl spin art.

I have to agree with Ted. Most are in the category of desperate for a sale.

I did get a killer deal on 50 dollar pillows.

Angie & Charles,

Wanted to say a Big THANK YOU again for having us at the Treasure Island Flea Market this past Halloween weekend. All the teardroppers have been thanking me non-stop and wanting to let you know how grateful they were for the opportunity. My goal was to have everyone have big smiles and share their trailers/stories with the public. I think we succeed as we had many visitors with many questions. We also had a lot of inquiries about the history and cost of the teardrops. I think you noticed we had a vote going on for the People’s Choice of favorite teardrop. We had over a 160 votes and Steve with the Woody/Pirate style teardrop was the favorite. Each person who voted got a candy or two.

We had a lot of the vendors go over and visit/socialize with us and it was just a great atmosphere all around. The evening was more fun as we had a lot of characters throughout the nite stopping in to ask questions. With the wedding at the pavilion, and the Halloween Ghost ship nearby it seemed we had many new friends to talk with most of the nite.

Here is a popular local blog that featured the gathering and talked about how wonderful a weekend it was:

I hope you thought we were all well behaved and provided a benefit to your customers/vendors. My teardop friends were all smiles from the am when we got there to well after they went back home. Many compliments about the location, the views, the great food trucks and of course the chance to show off their trailers to the customers.

Of course I am going to ask that we do this again next year. I am already getting positive feedback from the vendors/manufactures to add this to their calendar.

Thank again,

Dave

HI everyone!!

Please read the response back from Angie!!

Not sure who the two problem people were, and I am sure it was not out group.

Dave

Hi Dave,

A BIG THANK YOU right back. I take a couple of days off after the show and I was just getting ready to email you.

We loved having you and the other teardrop trailer owners there. We thought it was just great! I enjoyed immensely speaking and meeting everyone. (the gent with the home brewery ~ Best beer ever!!! ` Tasted like CHOCOLATE ~ Yum!)

The thank you card was very sweet and I appreciated it so much. The moola was not nececessary but so very appreciated! Thanks to all!!!!

Wow, what a great blog and the photo's amazing!!! (the reflection in the wheel ~ way cool!)

As you may have been aware my husband had a bit of a snafu with two ladies that seemed to really not be part of your group but were there and when asked by husband to not stop in the road she cursed at him and was combative. If you know who this is, she would not be invited back.

Everyone else was amazing and you all added something special to our show and we thank you and would absolutely LOVE to have you back.

Thanks Again to you and to all,

Angie
