For those of you who saw the Ocean Cove pizza video, could you consider setting up somewhere in that area if you arrive early on Friday A.M. ?? Pretty pleeeeze, as I love the ocean view, wave machine, and surrounding greenery. Bring an extra towel to wipe down the inside of your trailer & camp chairs, and be prepared for wind and fog. It was BEAUTIFUL the days we camped there, but you never can tell along the coast. See ya soon......TDN

Joanie, I couldn't quite tell where you made the video, but I went up there last year on Thursday late pm and there were already quite a few trailers in ocean view areas. That weekend is Columbus Day weekend, and it was a popular park last year. There is one big group that has been camping there for the last 20 years on Columbus weekend (though not right next to ocean).
Of course this is a different year and hope the are lots of prime choices to choose from.

Having been to only one TD camp out. The one down by Morro Bay. Do you all have a pot luck Friday and Saturday ? What can I bring. I do Dutch Oven cook .

We are planning on making it Friday mid-day. Will be prepared for the potluck Saturday and hope somebody will post if there will be a Friday potluck also. Have never been there so hopefully we won't be the first ones to arrive so someone who is in the know will pick out a good spot.
