Hey Larry, we live in Morgan Hill ca. just south of San Jose. Maybe we will see ya on the way. We will be leaving our house Friday in the am 4 or 5 ish.
Ray and Carrousel we cant wait to see everyone and have some fun.

Hey Dan. I'm thinking of leaving Sonoma on Wed which will give me a day up on you so you probably won't pass me until Buttonwillow. ; ) I would like to do it in one day, but I am going by myself and 10+ hours of driving might find me in a ditch! I plan on spending a night on the road with a decent dinner/breakfast and fresh coffee for the push up the Tehachapis and through the high desert. Will look for you there. Larry

As much as I'd love to I can't afford to camp right now, but I am probably going to hook up the TD and drive up Saturday for a couple hours.
If it sells before than I'll definitely pop up in the Gazelle. Day trippin' is better than no trippin'!
Can't wait to see some of these in person and meet some of you awesome folks.! I've only ever seen one TD in real life before I built mine.

Mnkeeboy: just to give you a heads up, you will need to pay the day use fee for the park if you come for the day. which looks like $10 but with the TD in tow I am not sure if there is an extra charge. I didnt want you to be surprised. you will need to have a tag in your window, that is what the rangers are looking for. i didnt want you to be surprised when you got here.

I figured the day use fees, gas, food etc. all in before I decided. I'm good at sneaking in too but not in the gazelle! lol
Bringing my Engineer friend/ robot fighting team mate along to help pay for gas.
Still working out the route and which vehicle to take. Of course the route will change depending on which vehicle too.
I've been unemployed for right at 6 months and just have to save enough buckage to get back to Tahoe.

There is a couple that wants to meet there to see the TD if I still have it so the trip is justifiable.
I'll be camping for the next 6 months. Not really worried about that end.

Left Mendo county in the rain. Had a couple of Dr appointment so wil night over in Sonoma and hit the road in the early AM heading south. Plan on a night on the road so I can check out the high desert in daylight.

It's sprinkling here in Riverside ( Wed @ 6am ) and "they" are callin fer rain till 8am Thursday. Then it should be sunny fer the weekend !!! I'll be bringin the Hippies with me and I'll have a bit of a surprise with the theme this year...There'll be a lotta surprises this year ! ( Mine izzn't the only one )

Left Sonoma in a full downpour! The highway to Napa was a bit scary as the windshield looked like a washing machine and the only way I could tell I was on the road was by staying glued to the tail of the truck in front of me... the reward was a great sun rise above tne delta.

The Weather Channel is saying it'll be 80 degrees Saturday.

I was able to go to Lake Perris today and visit. It was great to see all the Tear Drops and meet the owners.
Everyone was real nice and easy to talk to. Maybe next year my wife and me will be there.

Sorry I didn't make it out, I had to deliver my TT to it's new owner
They lived 3 hours away so we met in the middle and it was South/ South East. Perris is North/ North West
