This will be like rolling the dice for us.

Anyone in retail will have this problem too.

At work there are around 140 people and only 4 can be off per wk end. We ask, like you, but have to do it on the computer. We only have something like 60 days before a date to ask it off.

Which means around on may 6th
(the day before our 20th wed anniversary) :designing:
I will be asking for it off, or maybe the night before because I live in California and it is based in Georgia. so on 5/6 I will ask off the 7/6 & on 5/7th the 7/7 etc.

I also have to remember to ask off my birthday 2 wks later it is one of those important numbers and hope they will let me have it off too.

They know most of my parts are coming from Home Depot and so I might be representing them in a way. Gosh I hope they don't expect me to paint it orange and white :?

Any way we will fill out the paperwork and send it in and cross our fingers.

But It will be fun on the 4th it will be like going to a small town fair filled with the little people :D :) 8) ;)  :wine: :P :eyebrows: :CC  :ok: :shake hands:

There is one thing about being the offical photographer there if you missed a shot there are so many great cameras with skilled campers with a great photographic eye.... :pictures: :D there that you know someone got the shot. :snappy:

Have mine all snug in envelope and drop it in the mail box on my way to work. If I remember. Well won't forget to go to work, might forget to grab the letter on the way out of the house. Not like that has ever happened. Can't forget to work. Need to pay for July.

Since this IRG will also be on the 4TH of July it would be a good idea to leave your fireworks at home.
I like fireworks just as much as the next person but the Redwoods is not the place to fire them off.
We don't want to burn down the forest.
I think their banned in the park.
Hopefully they will have a display in Eureka.
Thanks, :D Danny

Esteban wrote:I posted an idea for traveling south from IRG5.0 to the Seven Sisters Fest in San Luis Obispo, CA. A wild idea at this time to leisurely travel 500+ miles along the California coast for four days to arrive in San Luis Obispo by the following Friday, July 11. The Seven Sisters Fest sevensistersfest.com could be entirely optional.

Wondering if anyone might be interested.

Steve,
I was thinking about doing that. Spend a few days traveling south on HWY 1 before turning back into the hot central valley to get home.

Joanie
Can we get an e-mail confirmation rather than sending a SASE?
Easier and quicker for you.
