That brings up a question. As it sound like it is not a regular camp ground can one camp before or after the event? I am kind of planning on leaving Friday also but I will stop in Ruby Valley or the mountains on the west of it. But might want to stay Sunday, Monday and leave Tuesday. Who knows what I will do.

Debbie:
It's been well over 20 years since I was in that area. If I remember correctly, coming from Reno, you take the Oreana exit, go to the foot of the mountains, and around the south end of the mountain range, Then north thru the valley.

Is this right?

I will be sending directions soon. You are right, that is one way to go, and a little shorter, but more rugged and over more of a dirt road, so not the recommended route for those not familiar with the area. That way goes by core Rochester mine. From. Winn. It is the mill city exit.

Yes, you can come early or stay late if you
Ike. Randy and I will be coming up Thursday after work.

Another question to folks.

Is anyone interested in either of the following? We have to set up in advance if you are:

Safe have rescue zoo. The have a couple of tigers
Cover Rochester gold and silver mine. -open pit not underground.

What is the Caveman? Is that the big motorhome/RV that sits at the side of your shop door?

I hope to/plan to; however, I have just returned from a 3 week 4,000 plus mile trip and need to see how much I can get done in the next week or so, including car maintenance and some trailer repairs needed. (I'll probably post about that soon).

Hope you can make it Sharon! More fun to hear about your trip in person. You have three weeks. :)

Caveman is the new old small standee Kay bought and is refurbishing. She has a thread on tearjerkers.
