That would make the trip much nicer than having to hurry home on Sunday for the long drive home.

We will be doing our main drive on Monday and will give me plenty of time to see what I can't live without at Cabelas.

Somehow teardrop time always seems to disappear faster than regular time so we seem to need more of it.

Yup... We were gone every weekend this summer, except one and it sure seems like summer sure flew by.

Are you going to meet up with us for the Route 66 run or are you just going straight to Cabelas?

Remember 'Teardrop Time'.......Take your time, you don't have to have it finished NOW.

park

Postby gabe68 » Thu Sep 30, 2010 10:19 am

I think I will go to the Park And see what is going on and meet some folks . I am trying to talk my brother in to taking the Woodie and its matching tear drop . It belongs to a good Friend of his George Larson . It is kept in a ware house somewhere hear in Tucson . I have never personally Seen it . My brother takes it and sets it up for him at some of the local car shows and that is about the only time this thing gets out . So keep your eyes open for us that Saturday.

NO this one was a old one that was restored by his mechanic . they found it back east brought it home to restore it to be pulled by the Woody . it is all covered with aluminum . I have seen the one you are referring around Tucson and it is a rayme built . I tried to get my brother to go . They had some damage to one of the storage hangers the roof gave way on that one so they crammed all his toys in to one hanger and the teardrop and Woody are in the back . apparently there a lot of old cars in front that need to be started batteries charged not mention the newly restored Cris craft in the front of it all .
