Last time a bunch of us stayed at Anthony Chabot and got up early for the pre gathering and talk at the airline terminal parking lot.

Now that gives me something to think about. Anthony Chabot has elec sites. The only problem I would have is with my oxygen intake being the way it is, I don't get moving until around 11:00am so it would be hard for me to leave early for the Island.

We were looking for a place to crash Friday night too. It would be fun to caravan to the meet and greet Saturday morning too! Count us in if this comes together.

Last year there were three or four of us that camped over nite friday and left early from Chabot. Eventhough we are local we wanted those traveling far to feel comfortable about how to get to TI and where to meet.

What the cost

Anthony Chabot is $25 a nite, has great bathrooms and showers.

It is an oasis in the bay area for seeing the sight as well.

Excellent!! People will love to see your work in process!! I know Gage mentioned bringing one of his projects to a previous event and it gives the DIY the motivation to take that step.

THE PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD is going to be amazing this year!! I have gone crazy on this one and I know everyone will be hyper competitive this year to win this one!! I am not going to say much about it, but it is wild!!

For those new to the Meet & Greet we have a friendly competition to have the general public vote for their favorite teardrop or tiny trailer.

Each Trailer will be assigned a larger number to attach to their trailer and there is a centralized area for the public to cast their ballot. We have a tall smokey the bear cutout that will be the place for the public to vote for your trailer. How you get them to vote for your trailer is up to you!!

Candy bowls?? YES!!

Fancy Awnings and Vintage Gear?? YES!!

Big Smiles and Answering Questions??? YES!!

Tours of your rigs?? YES!!

Bribes and Alcohol?? Maybe!!

The Goal is to have fun with the public and get them to vote for your trailer!!

Open house is from 10 am to 4 pm.

Ballot tally will be during the appetizer cocktail fest later that evenign around sunset!!! Lots of fun!!!

Dawn and Dawnika are working on the goodies bags as I type, the shipment came in from China and cleared custom this past Saturday. These are limited editiosn and not to be sold on eBay to the highest bidders...PLEASE!!!

Dawn and I met with the OWNERS of the Treasure Island Flea Market this past saturday and they are so excited to have us again and especially a month early!! We enjoyed the Flea market and had some wild gourmet truck food!! We also had cold beers at the TI bars that they have open there. THE WEATHER WAS BEAUTIFUL!! THE VIEWS WERE STUNNING!!!

We are getting excited!!!!

I will update the list shortly as I have been able to expand the numbers just a little bit.

We are going to try and have a good mix of teardrops and tiny trailers to show the public what these crazy trailers are all about.

Reminder that this is an overnite MEET & GREET WITH THE PUBLIC be ready to socialzie and have lots of fun.

Sunday I ask that you kindly stay as late as you can as the Flea Market is both days till 4 pm.

Hope I'm not too late responding. Hopefully I will get over there for one or both days. Will there be parking for just cars? Costs to attend or park? I'll be looking for ideas for a build. I've got a ton already but want to see some in practical use. Thanks.
