Courtney/Roy Booooooooo that you can't make it.

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaa You are starting on #2. Grant is bringing me some parts for my #2. Haven't started to build yet. general design is all in my head. I might get some iron and start welding the next two months. Well, after deciding on axle and a bunch of other things.

Take care you two, see you round a campfire sometime

I picked up some fresh corn. I am going to try to steam it for corn on the cob for the pot lucks.

There will always be the Moose in the TV.

We will not be able to make it this time. Just can not get enough time off from work. May try and make the Dam gathering next year.

I won't be able to make it either. (Every time this camp comes up, something comes up here and I can't make it.) My mother has been in ICU for a week and a half and as of yesterday, moved to a rehab center. Doing well but I feel like I should stay close to home. I will make it to the Glyph's some time in the future. Haven't had the trailer out at all this year!
I cut it three times and it's still too short!!

The gathering was great. I am now at home sucking down the left over Moose Drool.

Who got a picture of me in my standy?

Uhmmmm, yep ... the 2nd 'Glyphs Waha'Yoo was indeed a great time! Great folks, great weather, great food ... just not too many trailers (6 teardrops & a toybox). And, yes ... a few did get out to the hot pots, with no problems re: access (still wide open) ... this time in a galvanized stock tank instead of the mushy slimy sandy bottom of the one last year. Pics to follow, soon!

On a personal note, this may have been the last "organized" 'Glyphs Gathering ... at least, that I'll be wrangling. Waning numbers in interest and attendance, and a "been there, done that" kind of general feeling has me doubting I'll be doing this one as a bona fide "gathering" again. I'm not saying I'm not going back out there ... it's still one of my favorite places to camp, and I've still got a LOT of exploring to do out there ... I'm just not going to make a big deal out of it when I go. Maybe I'll just post that I'm/we're going and when, and if you can/want-to join me/us, then great ... we'll make it a gathering (it only takes two trailers to make a gathering, ya know!). I'm actually thinking of going out and staying for a week or so, next time ... and if you plan on bringing ice cream to share, I won't care what you bring to camp in ...   ... just as long as I don't hear the generator ... :R ...!

CHEERS!

Glad to hear that you guys had a great time.

And Randy what do you mean

Your home & your drinking some moose LEFT OVER from the Glyphs. :beerhat:

I know your probably thinking I'm sure glad Ken & John did'nt make it to the gathering because I surely would'nt be enjoying this nice cold drink wright now.

Wish I was there , But I'm glad that I did'nt head that way Friday night like I almost did, due to alot of SHXX happend with Jans famialy & there was no way that Jan could have dealt with all of the stress by herself.

Well hope to see ya all real soon.
