Mendo Supply Help

Postby dmb90260 » Wed Jul 18, 2007 8:49 pm

Anyone going to stop at Trader Joe's or Costco on the way to Mendo?
I am much to old to be a a Yuppie but I do love my brie. I made a mistake in planning and realize my supply is short. I can live without it but why should I? I will be happy to recompense anyone who brings a bit along for me. I can even trade for genuine martini's or a slice of Death By Chocolate Cake.
I am already at Cloverdale and too far to go back to Santa Rosa.

See y'all tomorrow or there abouts.

Duffy's Cavern will be parked at site #30. It looks like it will be the only standee there since Gage and my friend backed out. When the fog comes in heavy I can squeeze 4-5 of you inside.. That will help the heating bill.

You'll be able to get it in FT. Bragg, unless there is some specific brand name you want from a Trader Joes. Doug

Dennis,
Quit feeding that stuff to your lion.

Speaking of which, are we all gonna get to meet the lion???
Man... Between You, Steve and others, I think my culinary schooling will get furthered this weekend.

TDN will be down there sometime today.
The kids and I along with Jim will be down there sometime Friday morning.
Jim's gonna campout in my driveway tonight.
We'll be leaving here at 6:00am sharp.
I told Kevin when we're leaving and equating that into Norwegian time he thinks I'll be ready to pull out sometime around noon.
I sure hope the fog doesn't keep you walled up inside... Fog is good, it hydrates the skin and makes redwood trees grow...

It also causes rust.

Thanks Sue, but I have just been advised of a fine market in Ft Bragg which will have anything I need. I appreciate the offer.

Alas the lion is very old, she turns 16 in a month and does not see well. She likes to go... for about five minutes and then she wants to go home. She is staying with my brother but the two young ones will be there.

Culinary skills??? Only a few and none in big Iron but I do like to eat well.
Maybe one day I will show up and cook paella for you. I did not bring the cooking ring and pans for this trip, too much heavy iron in the way.

It is 10AM in Cloverdale right now. I will do the dishes and ease out of here in about an hour. I don't know if there is a check-in time for campground, if I am early, I will hang out in Mendocino for a couple hours.
