Darn you guys, for the last couple of months I've been saying that I'm going to stay home this summer and save some money. Now with all this talk of Pamplin I've got the maps out again! If I can get things to fall into place I'll be there.

Well look at it this way Cathy. It's got to be closer for you than what Minden was. :)

Lee,
I got all excited when I noticed the second envelope... Thought it was my replacement dash plaque.
Feeling once again complete and all is now right with the world... I tore into it without noticing it was for TDN.

Dean,

Sorry to raise your hopes only to "dash" them. I have to confess I had forgotten. I will get one out to you right away so that all will again be complete in your world. :)

I hope she is still saving those for her school. I think  she said they fell just short one year of collecting the most.

hey Joanie, how ya doin???

What do the boxtops come on? soup cans? soda bottles? frozen food bags? pizza boxes? or other boxes? :?

I'll start watching for them, too. I have a son at home again and expect to be super-sizing my food purchases.
A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour!

Boxtops

Postby The Teardrop Nanny » Fri Jan 11, 2008 6:33 pm

Yes, Sue, :) the boxtops can be found on numerous products, edible usually, and are small like postage stamp size. Each one earns us 10 cents. Thanks for keeping an eye out. When you buy supersize there are often Bonus Boxtops on these!!

Reservations Being Accepted

Postby The Teardrop Nanny » Mon Jan 14, 2008 4:45 pm

:)Some folks are planning to do a back to back with a trip to Mendo and then up to the Redwoods. Registrations are being taken now for the IRG/Redwoods portion. When the registration sheet and money are received the individual will be placed on the roster. We will NOT be placing individuals on the list until/unless they have sent us a check $$ to secure registration place. If you request an IRG RESERVATION by phone or PM, we'll put it on the list officially when funds are received.
