Hey Doug!

What Gage said about summs it up pretty well:

... a few years back the TriTNW group would have an impromptu DO pot luck (something like what Dean did last year) on Friday night ... So that just might be what Grant is talking about.

The last couple of years, those that wanted to usually made a big ol' DO of somethin' tasty, then others that were interested would wander 'round the grounds with plate & fork and sample the goodies (in the grand ol' Gage fashion ... ...!).

Depending on how everybody who wants to participate feels this year, we might centralize the feasting 'round the big fire ring and save everybody all that walking ... ... whaddyathink?

CHEERS!

Will there be a 'weight adjustment" like the do in horse racing? I do not believe these two jockeys were the same size trousers.

Dean, Do you have the satellite for Saturday night racing?

P.S. I worked it out so I can leave Thursday morning.

Just got home. I had a great time. Grant and Lisa put on a wonderful event. The weather was supper, not to hot or to cold. Even picked up some trim for the tear from Grant. I think a lot of us missed the forum as the only wifi was at the marina.

Postby The Teardrop Nanny » Sun May 04, 2008 7:43 pm

:applause: :applause: :applause: Hats off to the crowd at the Dam Gathering. What a gorgeous drive with the beautiful scenery of the lake and snow dusted mountains along the way. And the event was full of fun and great food. Got lots to unpack right now.... Thanks to Grant & Lisa and the rest of the folks for making it a dam fine gathering. Fifteen years and still going strong!
