I will probably be crossing I80 at Wells about 11 am, mountain time. Thinking of taking the road trough Ruby Valley to Highway 50 then through Eureka.

I took the tear on the Ruby Valley road for its first outing. It was Jan 2008 and about 20 miles of the road had not been plowed since the last snow.

I will be there on Thursday early evening. Just got back from Corvallis and Eugene, Oregon (non-teardrop trip) and catching up on postings.

Not for sure, but hopefully it has been plowed by now. :)

Many miles and many tears. Times were hard but now they're changing.

teardrop_focus

As soon as I can hit the road for this one I'm on it (I won't be able to post when I can leave L.A. until sometime Wednesday the 16th...).

Well, there you go...

And I can't arrange these things to save me arse.

I'm back at work; in my regular line although this one is a real blessing. My new assignment takes me through February... with 55-hour weeks. I've been out of work for 9 months, getting by with working with friends!

I had to work last Saturday and was not able to box and ship a vintage bicycle to my son in college in Colorado, so there's just not quite enough time this weekend for that, plus drive the 21-hour round trip from L.A. to the 'Glyphs and back.

Enjoy yourselves; I had really been looking forward to meeting all of you. It simply appears that it won't be at this one, and for that I am extremely disappointed.

Rest assured we will meet; and then I'll be gorging me belleh on GW Flapjacks.

Chris,
I just got off the phone with Kevin... Was heading home on H-50 with six other tears.
Said the gathering was awesome... Pics and post gathering banter should be good.
