NoCal caravan to Minden

just an idea i wanted to pass on: I'm not able to go to Minden, but I'm planning to meet up with the caravan in Carson City on June 18, travel one day to Ely, Nevada, then head back home the next day. Grant sent me the specifics re the place they're meeting and staying in Ely (KOA).

Thought it would be fun--my first caravan! one day and night camping with the group would be more fun than not going at all, I think.

yah i know, it seems like a good idea now, but i'm sure it won't seem so great as i stand there watching everybody else head east. but i have this arrangement with my employer: i show up for work, they give me a paycheck. that's a consequence i can't afford to risk!!! i have great benefits and a lot of pto time!
