Thanksqiving DOG Nov 12-14 Las Vegas

Calling all Pilgrims and Indians...Las Vegas Dutch Oven Society will be hosting our 3rd Annual Thanksgiving DOG and camping trip Friday, Nov. 12th to Sunday, Nov. 14th at Calville Bay at Lake Mead National Park

All are welcome to join us. The DOG will be Saturday Nov. 13 with the Thanksgiving Feast to be ready a 2 PM.

All sites are first come first serve, but the campground is wonderful and about 20 minutes from the strip, for those who need the neon lights and night life.

Please let us know if you are planning to attend. I will add names as people send interest.

We are back from the Las Vegas Thanksgiving DOG 2010. Thank you for all who attended the event. There were 5 teardrops in attendance with many day visitors.

No Knead Beer Batter Bread


The star of the meal. A 20 pound turkey cooked in a 14 in Maca Oven. The turkey was basted every 30 minutes and was completely cooked in 3 hours. It was one of the moistest turkeys around!


Sugar free Pumpkin Cheese Coffee Cake for desert!
