A word of advice, the Pismo Vintage trailer rally in Pismo Beach, CA started this way.
Last year there were 230 trailers at Pismo, for 2011, 300 spots were reserved and filled in FIVE DAYS.

The Spamboree reunion is the same weekend and David knew it. Still scheduled it not caring. I hear a lot have canceled the Spamboree saying it'll be cooler in Buellton. I hope they enjoy themselves. Me, I'm going to Woods Valley with my Field and Stream.

You are right about it being cooler. My dogs had a hard time with the 100+ temps last year so I am headed to Buelton. I have heard others have pulled out too but the only ones I know for sure are Bob & Cindy Ross.
'
These event conflicts are a pain. I had to skip IRG because of dog commitments in Oregon.

Well Dennis, I was joking about it being cooler. But everyone else thinks it will be. I've been to Buellton & Solvang durning the month of September and it's been hot, just like at Valley Center. One thing about California, you never know what the weather is going to be like from one year to the next.

At least there is a chance of an ocean breeze even if it is a long chance. Plus there are lots of great wineries around, and The Hitching Post restaurant featured in movie Sideways. but the price of the featured Pinot Noir has gone way up . There are tons of aebleskivers and I will not have to make my own. Fresh Danish pastries every morning is a good thing.

I looked up the weather for both and they seem to have the same average temps. Both are nice places. It was hot last year at the Spamboree but I like doing the Friday night cruise in downtown Escondido.

The Official Spamboree is no more. Last year was the final one.
A number of the Spamboree attendees are showing up at the same place http://www.woodsvalley.com/ and doing an unorganized reunion.
No one is in charge. You might PM Gage

Cliffmeister!

Glad to meet you at the Hurkey Creek event! Last minute sign up for Buellton, and did not realize it was the same weekend for Spamboree rehab (that's what someone else called it). I had a few issues with my electrical on the trailer, but things are getting ironed out. Looking forward to finding new places, hence Buellton.

Gage, is your Field and Stream home now?

Just for fun I was checking the weather as this weekend turned hot for CA. Yesterday it was hotter in Escondido than Buellton, and today is supposed to be hotter in Buellton than Escondido. For both in the highs of 90 to 100 range.
I'm glad I'm by the coast where is was in the 80's :R as it still felt warm to me.

Hope everyone had fun in both places.
Martha ;)
