Redwoods Revisted - Sept. 16th-18th '05

Postby Guest » Wed Aug 10, 2005 11:31 pm

Welp,
It looks like quite a few of the folks that attended the Early Bird Redwood Get Together want to come back one more time before Winter sets in.
Redwoods Revisited '05 will be from Friday the 16th thru Sunday the 18th at Swimmers Delight Campground, located on Highway 36 about 12 miles East of Highway 101.
If any one wants to come up early that's fine... I probably won't be able to be out there myself until Friday.
The full moon is on the 18th and if the skies are clear, we'll have a big moon beaming down through the trees at night! (Great for watching owls)

Dean,

I'm hoping to make it down there for atleast part of the time, my brother will be in town during that week so I may be committed to spending time with family. We'll see if he has any interest in seing a bunch of teardrop trailers...

Dean,
I am only a week or 10 days away from completion of the new Modernistic style tear. We will be using it on our way cross country to visit our daughter in Philly by the 16th of Sept. so will not be able to join the group. However I still have the Kit and you are welcome to borrow it for the Redwoods revisited gathering so you could "hardside" it at the campsite. Let me know if you are interested.

Jerome :)

Bill....It's practically mandatory that a first timer come up....It's the only way to shed the Newbee title....besides we can teach you the secret handshake etc...You'll have a good time, great group of people....Looking forward to seeing you there....Doug 8)

Sue,
That is quite a contrast in settings, eh?
Hope you can make it and if you do, I'm sure you will have some tales to tell...

come on, it'll be 2 weeks! that should be enough time to recover, unless you're hanging out post-event with dpw.

roy and i will be there, with tear in tow, somewhere around 3.30 & delirium or ego. we're camping with australian rocket scientists. (no, really.) look for the big blinking rocket.
