Hello fello Tear Droppers,

I have my trailer that I am going to convert to a tear drop. It was an old boat trailer so I need to remove the vee bottom supports and weld in flat bottom ones. I am going to start there because I need to use the trailer for some other things before I do the tounge shortening and tear drop building. Does anyone know a reasonably priced welder in the north Valley that you would recomend? I am going to have the cross braces already cut and ready to go to reduce the ammount of fab that the welder need to do.

Thanks
Chuck

My suggestion is to check with the local welding supply store if no one comes up with a recommendation.

The guy who welded up my frame was my neighbor across the street from me in TX. We moved to Colorado and they moved to Scottsdale. I don't know if he has a shop there though.

Check on aztearjerkers.com under TDs for sale. Call Ray Permenter of Rayme trailers. He does great work and is at 19th ave and Thunderbird. Very reasonable.
