I'll most likely be towing with the Edge. Like I said earlier, I need power steering in the wagon before I tow with it again. And there is not enought room in the truck.

I'll have an '07 Ford ranger super cab..white. Just got it yesterday!

Checked out the site today..trees, but not a huge amount of shade. Bring your 10x10's!!!

And you swim suits. A couple pools. There is a restaurant and bar up at the marina, too. Not that you should wear your swim suits there, but...to each his own!

Ice is up at the marina too. Big pavilion with tables and shade...in our camp. If you got a site on the perimeter, you are lucky. I'll try for that next year. Shade galore! Wider sites, too!

No pads, just grass. Gravel roads. I was surprised it wasn't more 'civilized'..as KOAs usually are.

It will be fun..remember there is a luau, so wear an Aloha shirt!

Just talked to the KOA and they siad they have about 150 trailers signed up already.

Hi Everyone

We are looking forward to seeing you all at Towerfest. We got the last spot per the KOA host and it is lucky number #338.

I hope it is not too blazing hot as it has been all this past week!!?? Any way then we will be off to beautiful Lake Tahoe and more specific Fallen Leaf lake for the week.

We bought the 4 x 9 Teardop from Pasadena posted here. Matt did a super job with the trailer. The finish is superb and he did alot of extras to make the wifey happy!!

I am sure it will all be a fun learning experience for us all.

Looking forward to meeting others on T&TTT..let me know who you are when you visit..I need to make some kind of Grasshopper nametag or something so you all know who I am. I suspect saying I'm the woman walking around in a vintage Hawaiian dress won't single me out at this event..you will need to know more than that!

Eddie will know that I'm the one with the peanut butter cookies..I'm the dark haired one, my Mom will be with me..so don't get us confused! People get our names flip flopped all the time. I've got the older name and she has the younger one! Go figure!

I may also be seen hanging out at the Scamp..I tried to find his space # but can't, and when he came over a few minutes ago (next door neighbor)..he couldn't remember. He may be camped near you. If he gives you any crap, let me know..not that you can't take care of it yourself, but give me a chance to be grumpy!

Just saw Tanya's post on facebook...so I called the KOA and I'm still in 326. I'm hoping to get there in the morning if my spot is vacant!

Is Marti the Canopy lady that is going to be at Towerfest?

Is there a thread on her canvas work or pictures that can be shared?

We are thinking of having one made.

But would like to stay local with Teardropers.
