Twain & Tears-Sep 22/23. 1wk to go. Who's coming?

It is a 500 Sportsman. The year is 1953. I forgot the month but it is stamped on the fount. It should fire right up. There is a lever under the burner, one side for light and the other for when it gets going. It takes a while for all that cast iron to heat up but when it gets hot it burns real nice. It does not like drafts. There was a sheet metal wind deflector the goes around the posts for the grill. I might make me up something some day for mine.

So next year we are planning for june, 2nd or 3rd weekend. Hopefully the campground part would still be green then, and less allery stuff. Any preference??
