:thinking:Looking for a nice camp spot for Thanksgiving close to the Arizona/California border close to I-10. Trying to meet halfway with my parents who live in Los Angeles, My sister and I live in Phoenix and Chandler, Arizona. any suggestions would be appreciated.

Boy Eddie, you ask a heck of a question. :thinking: I don't think there is anything in that area except for a prision and a couple of rest areas. You might think about the Parker Dam area or Lake Havasu. Another place you could check into is Park Moabi on the Colorado River, but over on I-40.

or

Buckskin Mountain http://azstateparks.com/Parks/parkhtml/buckskin.html

There are also some Cali County Parks on their side....

What equipment are y'all using; tears, trailers, tents?

Thanksgiving is a big weekend at the SandDunes just west of Yuma. Lot's of camping, lots of sandrails, quads, etc.
