Bumpy! Only one month to the NV gathering in Unionville. Plenty of room for more trailers, we
have 7 coming and several more maybes. this is a nice, relaxing sanctuary gathering. Come join us! The list of attendees is over on the Tearjerker site for privacy. Hope to see you there!

Just a bump to let everyone know there is plenty of room still in Unionville, Nv. at the Twain and Tears gathering. We are planning a Friday and Sat potluck, bring what you like, but otherwise, you are free to what you like, including nothing. After this year, we will probably go to every two years, on the opposite year of the IRG. So come on up to experience truly rural Nevada.

We are planning on coming up Thursday, however, as the part is free, you are welcome to come earlier and stay longer if you like! Hope to see you there.

I will be posting a little traveloge for those new to the area next week.

Re: Twain and Tears 2013-June 8th weekend- coming up soon!

Postby nevadatear » Thu May 30, 2013 9:07 am

Just a final note, Twain and Tears is coming up just a week away! Remember there is water and a a portapotty, but no showers. When you get to the park, park anywhere you like. We plan on pot lucks both Friday and Saturday night, with portable campfires under the stars (no open wood fires are allowed there). Probably a hike Saturday am up into the local hills. Other options include scavengering for fossils or just lazing around. If you haven't been there before and need more direction, just PM me. Otherwise, looking forward to seeing everyone soon in the most beautiful canyon in Nevada! Folks are welcome to stop by Randy's shop for a tour of Desert Metal if you are passing through before we leave. I will be up Wednesday night or Thursday am, but Randy may not be up until later.

It's camping time!

we are acoming anyway

Postby lee senn » Tue Jun 04, 2013 11:48 pm

Well I tried .......but. We visited last year, stayed at the Unionville bed and breakfast, got lots of input an determined to return with our own tear this year. Well we are about 50% done but not far enough along to get it on the road ... so we are coming in our not so tiny ( but it is vintage ) 17 foot 1981 fiberglass Trillium, made in Canada. Good new is I am confident we will have the drop ready for Walk the Winds and Davis Creek. See ya at Unionville the 7th. Lee and Norma
