I'm sorry to have to say that I cannot attend this year's TI M&G

I have been having serious back trouble for about 6 weeks, and hoped it would have cleared up enough that I could attend, but it hasn't, so...

I'm sorry about disrupting the beer supply, someone else will have to step up for that, ditto for "the oldest trailer"

Hi everyone!!



We will be participating in a food drive sponsored by Angie of the Treasure Island Flea Market and Saint Anthony’s. Not sure on the ask but I will assume it will be canned goods or dry items. Once I hear back from Angie I will let you know for sure. Let be as generous as we are always are and know it is for a great cause!! Plus I am sure it will pay off with future events.

I need to give Angie a proper head count so let me know for sure you are coming and how many people in your party ASAP?

Reminder that this is not a normal campground. What does that mean, there are porta potties and hand wash stations. No running water or electricity nor BBQ pits. I ask that you please enjoy and purchase food from the gourmet vendor truck when you can. They are SO INCREDIBLY GOOD!! Plus it shows we are part of the Treasure Island Flea Market crowd and Vendors. Also enjoy the Flea Market vendors, lots of cool stuff and 50’s 60’s treasures(island). Also lots of wineries are there and will have many opportunities to imbide…yummy wine. Plus our good friend Chas Will have tasty home brew and maybe some competition..Teddy!!

Again we are guests and respectful to the owners, the vendors, the security people and the general public. We are all Teardrop Ambassadors and there to educate the public on our special little trailers. You will be asked many questions and you should have your bios ready to share. This is not the normal get drunk, dance naked gathering…even though there is a 40 ft Bliss dancing statue overhead. Enjoy lots of drinks but talk to the public as they will have many questions for you.

You have been entered into the 2nd annual Treasure Island People’s Choice Award, you will receive a number to post on your trailer. Take time to ask the public to vote for your trailer!! As last year there will be Smokey the Bear to collect you votes…and to remind everyone about fire safety!! Only you can prevent a Government Shutdown!! NO BALLOT STUFFING!! Also candy can be a great vote influencer or beer!!

Reminder that the Bridge is a 15$ dollar tow! 15 dollars!! Also if you’re coming west bound across the bridge you will need to get in you left hand lane and exit before the tunnel on Yerba Buena exit!! You will need to pay attention as it will be very exciting crossing the new bridge !! Those coming from the city take the treasure Island exit and get in your left hand lane before the island. Please slow down as the turns can be very sharp! JUST BECAREFUL TED!!

I will determine a rendouvez time in front of the airline terminal like last year, expectation is early Saturday am, then we move on in and set up like last time. Bring shade, reminder no shade to protect from the elements. Also expect any kind of weather!! That means rain, fog, snow, sun…bring a jacket, pants….PILLOW AND BLANKIE…oh brother!! Also bring a small piece of wood to put your trailer jack to rest on. Who know how wet the ground will be, and my jack sank a couple of inches. We unhitch and move our vehicles to the free parking lot. This gives the trailers the presentation they deserve and is what the owners request.

Safety first!! Help your brothers and sister out by watching their trailers and gear…this is the Public. Kids, adults, teens…who the heck are these people?? Treasure Island also has low income housing…JUST BECAREFUL at all times.

Try and stay as late as you can on Sunday please. Bring the radio and we can listen to football games. No World Series this time!!

Reminder that those who are traveling from Nevada and Sacramento you can get a reservation at Anthony Chabot campgrounds in Castro valley Overnite friday!!

I may think about doing this just for the heck of it!!! I think it is only $22 dollars!!

They have a great showers and bathrooms and only a few minutes away from Treasure Island!!
