My hang up is money and time. I need to take a day off work and drive a hour to get roof molding, then when I get back I have to rent a trailer to get the aluminum. This is all eliminating any seams, I need everything to be ten feet long. Put all that on, attach hurricane hinge, door and then register. That is assuming I finish polyurethaning the walls this weekend.

As the old park joke goes... the Czech is in the male. The bearings are lubed, my tear is restocked and I am counting the days and can hardly wait. Once again Peggy is going to be a no-show... she is using the cats we are babysitting as an excuse, but our daughter has promiced to bring "MY" dog by for a visit (getting to be a family joke). I too have mentioned this gathering to other tear owners and hope we can break last year's record.

i think i am seeing a trend. 5 last week 11 this week. does that mean 20 next week? i hope so. keep them coming. the big day is getting closer. i have seen some great pics of new builds. all the same but all different.

Have family who live nearby. It looks like I'll be able to come by for one or more days with my family to socialize and check out the teardrops.
New friends, Tom and Margaret, are also coming to Lake Perris to get ideas for their planned teardrop.

This thread is awful quiet with only 2 1/2 weeks to go.... Anyway, I'm busy making a small mod to my trailer and the smell of gassing-off Varathane fills the air. I won't roll in until late Friday as the only night I could get a reservation for Death Valley was Thursday, but the good part is that the reservation is for the RV park where I will probably be stuck between two 50 ft motor homes that run their generators all night.... That might not matter though if I blow the tranny on my poor old Element pulling a fully loaded Silver Shadow up the Tehachapi grade...

I can tell you why I am so quiet but too busy to tell you why I am so quiet. Getting ready for the social event of the season or at least that's how I am looking at it. Be prepared everyone. Open house has been posted in the paper for Saturday. Ok no time to chat. Still much to prepare for. See everyone real soon.

Gonna bring a "different" theme this year...been workin on my galley and even planning a very nice modification fer my kitchen, but that won't be done till after Lake Perris. Got the "menue" figured out and hopin to implement sum "shenanigans"... Woo Hoo ! It's almost here !!!

And then next month there's the 1st Desert Adventure Vintage Trailer Rally in Joshua Tree at the Sportsmans Club.

Changing plans again.... Death Valley is out cuz middle child is driving south around the same time so we are going to meet up at LP on Thursday....
