I just checked the weather forecast too. The forecast I'm seeing says the Friday 3/27 high temperature is expected to be 94. The Saturday 3/28 high is expected to be 92.

Ouch! I'll be sure to wear shorts and a wide brimmed hat when I visit. May also bring chilled water or sodas in my backpack and have some sunscreen lotion handy. Looking forward to a fun day or two visiting the Lake Perris gathering. Plan to bring several nieces and nephews by, too, for them to meet nice friendly people and marvel at the creative variety of teardrop trailers.
:) Fun days coming up very soon!

I was thinking of bringing a crock pot for the pot luck. I have never camped anywhere with electricity, I take it when it says thirty amp power a special adapter is needed? Would there be anywhere near the pot luck area I could plug in?

Your crockpot will work fine...standard 3 plug outlet.....you plug in right at the post in each campsite....it would probably be helpful if you had a power strip so you could move the crockpot away from the post if needed.

Hi Roly
You had better send me some pictures of you and your babies enjoying the 90 degree temps at this event.
How many cattle guards do you think you will cross in 25 miles???? Good memories from the Humbolt Mountains and our guide "Bob"
Have Fun!

I had no trouble towing my tear from LP to my daughter's in Burbank... Cuz it was hooked up to the flatbed that me Ellie was on! A mixture of too much heat and a jerky Hummer driver led to her demise. I guess my SoCal vacation will be extened a bit.

I hope you got a picture of the Tow-Truck towing the Teardrop...I imagine you turned a lot of heads driving down the road.... Glad all are safe.

I visited on Friday and Saturday. I think on Saturday I saw a flat bed tow truck with a car/truck on the truck with a teardrop hitched up behind all being towed away from the gathering. Maybe it was you and yours ? Didn't take a picture.

It was so hot Friday when I brought my family and their kiddos for a look that we had to cut our visit short. My niece's DH became heat stressed so they and the kids all left early for home. Returned Saturday afternoon with one nephew for another look around and to join in on the pot luck. I brought a thermal cooker meal to the potluck to join all the dutch ovens. As usual there was more food available than we all could eat. Thankfully it cooled down a little bit Saturday and the cooling breeze was stronger. We had the pleasure to share a picnic table with Roly during the pot luck which was very enjoyable.

Kinda wish the pot luck and socializing during/after it had gone on longer. The tables were quickly hauled away in pick up trucks.
