Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

Hi all!

My husband and I have been long time readers of this forum as we go through the process of building our first trailer! Not sure where we would be without this site. Such great recommendations.

Anyway, we are getting ready to take our first maiden voyage and are looking for site suggestions. We live in the Bay Area and want to camp with friends that prefer tents (car camping) so something to accommodate both styles of camping.

Any suggestions?

How far away do you want to go? There is a very pleasant campground just two miles west of Winters on the way to Lake Berryessa, right off Pleasant Valley Rd., that would be perfect for your wants/needs ... it's called Lake Solano Campground, it's a county facility, has RV facilities on the "upper loop" and more woodsy camping on the lower loop next to the lake. You need to like ducks, geese, peacocks, and grey squirrels, though, as they pretty much "own" the place!
