Oh No-No...
We don't want to scare a Bigfoot away.
I hear there's been one sighted out there a few times recently and from what I hear... He/She has been making bow weavings, an artwork form similar to basket weaving and leaving them behind.
If there is one nearby... I think Teardroppers would be what it takes to finally re-establish a human realationship with these wonderful creatures.

Important...

The county wants us to keep the gate locked while the gathering is happening.
People already signed up can PM me for the gate combo.
Those that are planning on registering at the event will need to ring the cowbell that will be locked into the chain on the gate for first time assistance.

Newp.... :o
Don't worry Eddie...
I doubt we will have any visits from a bear because Daisey Dog and others will be there to scare 'em away.
Oh Yaa... Guy and his thong too.

YIKES! :frightened: That may scare more than the bears away.

I am afraid IRG is no longer a possibility for us this year. My father has been fighting prostate cancer for the last year or so and has taken a turn for the worse. There is no way of telling what might happen and we can’t afford to drive to California and need to come home on short notice. Sylvia and I really hate to miss this gathering as we have been making plans all year but sometimes life throws you a curve. Life events like this really put things in perspective. I look back fondly on the time spent hunting and fishing with my dad and cannot wait to spend some teardrop time with my son. While my family never were big campers my parents did own several travel trailers while my dad was in the service. I guess that’s where I got the bug. Please keep us in your prayers, they are welcome and appreciated.

Scott--

We will miss you, but look forward to seeing you at next year's. Take care of your father and rest of the family. Don't forget to take care of yourself too.

Regrets

Postby The Teardrop Nanny » Sun Jul 09, 2006 4:11 pm

:o Dear S & S,

So sorry to hear you had to cancel, and more so because of the reason. I will certainly put you and your family on my prayer wish list. Perhaps we'll be able to cross paths another time and another place. Good wishes and strength to you and your father as you approach this upcoming phase in your lives. I'm sure you'll share with him how precious those outdoor times were that you spent with him, as will be the time you spend with him now rather than attending the gathering. Even though you and your wife have been looking forward to THIS gathering, there will always be another TD Gathering somewhere. So don't miss this chance for some quality time with your Pop :worship:
