There were a couple more people that came after the above pictures were taken; so, it was a bit bigger crowd than it looks like. Some (also not pictured) came by for an afternoon visit, too.
We did warn on the forum way in advance...: The old "you snooze, you lose" on those reservations held very true this year. There was a yearly camp-out for a local, nice, home-school group of families going on.* The campground was sold out. That meant some of our trailer people were unable to book reservations because they waited too long. Those who waited too long missed a great new gathering!
*For the record, the school kids were excited when they got there, Friday night; but, the next morning, the teachers/parents took the kids on a
long hike that lasted until dinner and did a good job of tiring the kids and squelching some of that enthusiasm. So, having a bunch of school kids around wasn't bad at all.
