Good times have begun

It was a small gathering but a lot of very nice people and creative Teailers. Looking forward to next years gathering.

There were a couple more people that came after the above pictures were taken; so, it was a bit bigger crowd than it looks like. Some (also not pictured) came by for an afternoon visit, too.

We did warn on the forum way in advance...: The old "you snooze, you lose" on those reservations held very true this year. There was a yearly camp-out for a local, nice, home-school group of families going on.* The campground was sold out. That meant some of our trailer people were unable to book reservations because they waited too long. Those who waited too long missed a great new gathering!

*For the record, the school kids were excited when they got there, Friday night; but, the next morning, the teachers/parents took the kids on a long hike that lasted until dinner and did a good job of tiring the kids and squelching some of that enthusiasm. So, having a bunch of school kids around wasn't bad at all.

No I used Paint program to resize the pics.
I hope they came out OK. The group pic was the only one that I didn't resize correctly. Let me know if I did something wrong.
I forgot about the others that came for the short visit. All in all it was a fun first time gathering. I'm glad we all got to visit plus do our own thing.
I'm actually afraid for this gathering to get bigger. Someone else might have to take over.
Anyhow, it was fun meeting everyone. I can't wait until next year

I would be very interested in looking at your new build so I hope you finish on time. I am hoping to have the next gathering on the weekend of September 20, 21, 22, and 23 2018. I will be posting a new thread for this gathering in Santa Cruz soon. I believe we can't make reservations prior than 6 moths, but look out for openings that weekend at the same park (Henry Cowell https://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=546) we did last year. We will be in the loop 1-51, I'm hoping to get the same spot as last year.
Feel free to send me a PM for any specifics and get the word out if you know any others who are interested in coming .

We had a great time at Pinnacles National Parks and it was great you see you both again. Let us know when we can meet for lunch, that would be great !

Hey guys!
Yes, we are having it on the same weekend on the same month. I will be posting a link about the gathering and I'm hoping to have it in the same loop as we all had, it was a good location. We won't be able to reserve until the end of this month, so keep looking out for reservations!
