Gage,

Do you just go out and buy another Standy? Tanya let you? What about that restoration waiting for you in the back yard? Can't get motivated to do that, eh?

I sold the Mercury to George (lives across the street from me) and that gave me room for the Santa Fe. We've been looking for a 10 footer for a couple of years now so there was no problem bringing it home (once I got home with it and Tanya got a good look). You can read all about the Santa Fe in the 'For Sale' section, 'Free trailer nor cal' thread.

Is this the one you are talking about. Yep, sold it to George. No stove, oven or ice box (sold them)

Aw, the Orphan. It's in the drive way being washed off by the rain we're having. I'm going to start taking it apart this summer. Need to get it done. Sister is retiring June 2007 and will need that little baby. She's already sold her Civic and bought a CRV to have something to tow it with.

Have a good day.

I hope I don't get spanked for these two pictures but Gage wanted more info on my standy its a 68 Siesta (It's behind the Kit) Real fun, Real Cheap. needed an entire ceiling replacement and I still have to rebuild the rear storage.

Image

My wife did a Margarita theme inside and we have been collecting some '60s plastic ware for plates and cups etc.

Ma3tt,

Standys are okay, as long as they are still TT, which yours is...

I've had a couple standys, and I can see a time and a place for them...

Looks real good Ma3tt. Arn't group pics neat?
Image

Here's one that shows four 1956 items. The one in back is a '56 Mercury and belongs to a very devoted teardropper. Can't tell you who it is but take a look at the truck real close and you'll figure it out. Oh, he has something to do with Locke Nest Teardrops. ;)
Image

Say Ma3tt, let's all take our standy's to the Spamboree. I'll talk to Dave (oops) and a couple other teardroppers that have them.

Have a good day.
