Whenever I go to the bar...I mean to lunch...90% of what I talk about with my buddies is cooking.

The other 10% is sex, but since our chances at cooking are a lot better than sex (with a female, not by ourselves), the percentage always weighs much heavier toward cooking.

And that link just blew my away.

It sounded, looked, and for all purposes appeared to be awesome!

Kind of like sex, which as mentioned above, we never get.

Ira, I've made those in the DO by cooking them in olive oil until the bacon is done. Yumm!!

Another good option for the bacon is to use a strip of thin tortilla shell to wrap the pepper and the cheeze.
This cooks a lot quicker so I can burn my mouth sooner.

I love to make them when I'm camping.

I've grwn my own jalapenos for years. They can get pretty hot homegrown. If I water them a lot, the grow faster, and not as hot. If I am stingy with the water, they grow slower, smaller, darker and way hotter.

The trick it to get the seeds and the membranes out of them, and rinse them well, if you want to cool the heat a bit. If the peppers are too hot, you can't taste the good flavors.
