Mike...
Just printed it off. Looks absolutely awsome. Any one that cooks should have a copy. Mine is going into a 3 ring binder and will reside in the tear as a valuable reference. Many ... many thanks all

Copy of cookbook

Postby eamarquardt » Wed Jan 09, 2008 10:44 am

Hi,

I'd like a copy if humanly possible.

Thanks,

Gus
The opinions in this post are my own. My comments are directed to those that might like an alternative approach to those already espoused. There is the right way,the wrong way,the USMC way, your way, my way, and the highway.

Ok... so it took me a while to find this (only a little more than a year since the last post!) but all I can say is THANK YOU!!!! I've been looking for a couple of years now for a DO cook book for camping and haven't found one that I liked. It's a darned good thing I joined this forum! This is Awesome!! :applause: :applause: I'll be printing out this bad boy ASAP.
Millions of thanks to all that contributed to it.

Cook Book #1 with "Bookmarks".

Postby cuyeda » Fri Aug 06, 2010 3:10 am

With the upcoming Cook Book Ver. 2 in the making, I suggested a way to add bookmarks to the recipe index. A way to easily jump to specific recipes without having to scroll through the entire document.

I added bookmarks to the Cook Book #1, practicing for the new Ver. 2.

You can download an amended Ver. 1 if you wish to have it. Some people have actually printed the entire document out hard copy. The index should reflect the printed page numbers.

When viewing this document, check your view settings in the Adobe Reader, and make sure you have "Bookmarks" turned on. You can then use the bookmarks in the left menu tab to navigate to each recipe. The printed index refers to a printed page reference (not Adobe Reader PDF page).

Any suggestions appreciated.

I have printed out the 1st version. In volume 2 can you tell which recipes are new?
