Cookbooks?

Postby Snide61 » Tue Mar 16, 2010 8:43 pm

I see that there is a T&TTT cookbook. Are there any other cookbooks people like to use for camping? Looking for something that covers grilling, open fire, dutch oven, pie irons, etc. all in one convenient easy to haul source. If pages are water durable would probably help as well since it will reside in the Td. Thanks in advance for sharing!

I printed off the entire t&tt cookbook and punched and placed the pages in a 3 ring binder. They could be slid int the clear plastic sheet covers to protect them.

Here is another site that allows you to pick and choose the recipes you wish to print

google dutch oven cookbooks and a lot of cast iron/dutch oven cookbooks come up. I even found "Cast iron cooking for dummies".

Here are some real basic pie iron ideas

These are real neat as many are designed to fit in a wide mouth mason jar so at the campsite you have all ingredients premixed and ready to go.

This one is a real treasure, I just found it, and the background is great need to know info for the novice on how to use and care for your cast iron.
