Twisted Cole Slaw

Postby Todah Tear » Tue Feb 01, 2011 10:19 pm

Here's a recipe for a twisted kind of Cole Slaw.

I was in Brookshire's and discovered that angel-haired Cole Slaw is being offered. Basically, it is just cabbage shredded very thin. You have to make your own sauce. Here's were I got creative. Instead of the usual sauce, I gave mine a twist.

> 2 or 3 cups of Angel-haired Cole Slaw

> Take 1or 2 tablespoons of Food Club brand, Brookshire's Brand, French Onion dip (I am specifying this brand because it taste very, very similar to the Ranch dressing that Wing Stop serves.)

> bacon bits

> 1/2 teaspoon of lemon pepper seasoning or to taste

Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl and serve.

:R Enjoy!

One can never go wrong adding crab. It can never hurt any dish that I've had :D . Funny thing though, when you get done mixing the 1 or 2 tablespoons of dip into the angel-hair cabbage, it kind of looks like a lump crab cake prior to cooking.

I sometimes whip up a bit of this Twisted Cole Slaw and eat only it!
