Easy (No Batter) Fish Tacos

Postby tim_hart » Wed Jun 19, 2013 10:57 am

We had a storm with over 3 inches of rain. The winds calmed the next day and we went out to get into the Hybrids. We usually catch lots of them this time of year. We don't really see much white bass action. This mud hole lake looked clear to 3 feet and the white bass bit like crazy.

Cleaned them and made my homemade fish tacos. Awesome eating and they are easy to make.

Here is how I make them(no fish batter needed).

Corn tortillas.
Tony's Chaceres
Fish Fillets
Pico de gallo
Julio's hot sauce.
Hot oil shallow pan

Cover fish filet liberally with Tony's (No breading needed)

Take a corn tortilla and hold (by one tip) for short period in oil till soft. 1-2 seconds.

Fold the raw fish filet into corn tortilla by folding in half and set aside allowing oil to soften tortilla further.

Fry each taco hard with fish inside. Salt to taste.

Add Pico de gallo and Julio's hot sauce.

Eat that sucker!!!

More a fish taquito, but it sounds good to me
Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day; teach a person to use the Internet and they won't bother you for weeks.
