Cherry Roll Dutch Oven Dessert

Postby HMK » Sun May 04, 2014 9:31 am

A buddy on another forum gave me this recipe. I haven't tried it yet, but you can bet I will be trying it soon!

2 Ingredients

Cherry Pie Filling
Canned Cinnamon Rolls

Place a layer of cinnamon rolls in DO, cover with cherry pie filling and keep layering like your making lasagna. He told me that he doesn't go over 3 layers due to making sure the cinnamon rolls are cooked without them being doughy.

He didn't remember how many coals or nothing, so I will prolly do just like I normally do and fill up my lid with 17/20 and then about 7/8 under. I usually start with less and check, then add more if necessary. Dutch Oven cooking is not hard, it just requires hands on. I also rotate my oven every 10/15 minutes. This should be a simple dish!
