I am selling my unfinished rebuild project. I have since bought a cargo conversion, and I don't need this anymore. I do not have a title, but there is a way to get one if interested. I live about 30 miles north of Pittsburgh, PA. Below is the link to my craigslist ad. There is a build thread for this in the Tearjerkers.net site as well.

Don't give up Dave! :o

If Jenn wouldn't kill me, I'd love to have another project. I think she's counting down the days until I'm done with our 1976 13' Gaucho.

Zach,

I didn't know you were working on a Scotty. If I can't unload it by winter, I may consider finishing it. Need to finish up the Cargo trailer first. Don't have a lot to do with it. The only thing is the Scotty is taking up too much room in the garage.

I picked up our Scotty back in June, to surprise Jenn. Boy was she surprised. :frightened:

I started working on it at the end of July and it's all that has kept me sane over the past few months, but that's a whole other story.

I took it down to the frame, replaced the axle, and now rebuilding with 100% new wood. Interior will be all modern but the exterior is going to remain original, including skins, windows, trim, dents, bruises, patina, etc. There will be a couple modifications on the outside, but to the untrained eyes it will all look original.

We hope to be "campable" by St. Patricks Day weekend with the Chesapeake TearJerkers. :worship:

I haven't posted on here since its not a teardrop, but maybe I'll start a thread for kicks.

Don't worry, the teardrop is tucked away safe and sound.
