Overall, the concept is pretty good for a cargo style trailer carrying a boat on it. Just the outside is shaped differently than a box and the doors are on the small side for cargo capability. And the cost, yah I'd have to agree, way up there.
I think I'd rather have the extra space above rather than have a boat, meaning take the boat concept and integrate it to the trailer as the roof, making it non-removable. This provides a much large interior volume and storage capabilities. I know my wife would prefer space to put on pants .....maybe even add a roof ac unit.....
Rather than perform total interior customization, I would like to see some interior fiberglass blanks to install. But how would the interior blanks be attached to the walls and ceiling? Floor is plywood so that's a given.
In the pics and their web site (
http://www.towrowtrailers.com/), it doesn't tell how thick the walls are. But, in one of the Ebay pics with the rear door open, it's obvious the door is 1/2" or more thick. Insulated?
This all-fiberglass trailer reminisces the old TD concept. I like it, but cost for what it is and it's capabilities is way high. Go about 1/2 price and make double sales or more.
Here in the KC, this year at the RV show, Little Guy was there with a local salesman/distributor. They offered their 4x8 fiberglass TD for $3950. Whereas on Ebay, Yoter Toter gets ~$2200 for the 4x8, which is about 1/2 price.
