Hi Sandy,

I think that I will reserve for Saturday/Sunday and leave Cornwall first thing Saturday morning. I should arrive around noon. Hope they'll let me in early. :worship:

I am going to try to make it. I was pondering a trip to the NY gathering that weekend in Lake Moreau, but it would be fun to meet up a little closer to home. (I checked Google maps and there is only a 50km difference between Bon Echo and Lake Moreau for me, go figger.) I didn't make a reservation in NY because I was feeling wimpy about the weather.

Anyhow, the only complication that I really have is that I may be working overtime that weekend, so to use a sports analogy, it will be a game day call.

It would be great to meet some of the people I met this summer and some new people.

Hey - You guys are closer than me!!! By using a hand spread - you're a 1/2 a little finger closer!!! Here's hoping for good weather - I refuse to shiver in the rain while my cat sleeps in comfort!!

Friday looks to be a poor day for camping...but a poor day camping still beats a good day working. Calling for sunshine saturday and sunday.
I've got my fingers crossed for a change in the weather 'cuss my plans are set.

OK - got home safe and sound (passed Sandy just east of Peterborough) just for fun!!!
What a great Park - what a great bunch!!!
Thanx John for helping to push us out of the campsite - that hill was a bit too steep for front wheel drive.
That's probably it for this year - the "Toad Abode" is all pack up for the winter - time to think of little additions for next year.
Thanx for the great time guys (and Cathy)
Hey Sandy - PM me your email adress and I will send some photo's!!

Great weekend. Thanks for coming out in spite of the cool weather and rain (I'm sure the cat was warm and dry at home). Cathy enjoyed the location and the company...maybe a fall tradition is starting up.
I trust that Norm and John made it home o.k. It was good to see you guys again...maybe next time the kayaks will be ready.
Looking forward to the spring already

Princess Rolling Eyes says it was her superb driving skills that got us out of the campsite - I'm not going to argue!! Anybody know if Norm is still up to his ankles in water???

Hi guys,

Sorry I did not get back to you all, still dealing with water damage here. There were apparently 2200 flooded homes in Cornwall alone. Some are worst off than I am. Basement may not be usable for the next many weeks as all contractors are overbooked.
On another note, had a very nice drive home using backroads and minor roads. I also did better than 3.78 l/100km (62+ mpg for us pre-metric folks)
I posted some photos to my facebook page at: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2 ... 110454ef09
