Spotted my 1st Teardrop in the wild!

Postby Ron1949 » Wed Jul 25, 2012 5:46 am

Was up past Bancroft this last weekend and passed an aluminum and black Teardrop heading North.
It was a quick encounter as I was heading South lol It appeared to be oversized...maybe 6 x 10.
Well now I have at least 1 notch on my belt! LOL
Also while picking up some "J" moulding in Peterborough recently....the store clerk said "Your the 2nd person this week, whos built a Teardrop"
OMG!.... they're becoming "common" LMAO!

The rv dealer in Pembroke has a bunch of little guys for sale more than I have seen anywhere else in Ontario. You will see us go through bancroft after our gathering in August as we head to my mom and dad's in Petawawa.

WOW! Small world glenpinpat!
Petawawa huh!
Yup! been there! :)

My mother was born in Westmeath and my dad in Eaganville, and both lived and worked in Pembroke in the 40's.

Spent lots of time in Pembroke in my youth, as my parents thought nothing of driving from Toronto to Pembroke just for an evening of visiting family and friends!
Yes...I sure remember my dads old 49 Merc blazing up old Hia 41! hahaha

Hey Ron:
I'll be going up 41 this weekend to a family get together (wife's side) in Renfrew. Friday night in Flinton, then Renfrew on Saturday night.
If you're out there look for the woody behind a black pick-up.
Also looking forward to the first gathering in a couple of weeks organized by Patrick.

I saw a red and white T@B outside of a radio station. I looked to see if there was a contest, but I didn't see one. Maybe they use it for On-location advertising? Oh, and there's a place here that sells something called the R-Pod. It's huge!

Hi Chris.
I don't think things have changed much over the years. My sister has lived just outside of town for about 5 years.
This year the town hosted the Flinton Country Jamboree, and many young things in their Daisy Dukes' with the big belt buckles were seen.
