  • I bought the same side tent at Academy Sports for $20 in 2013. At $20, it was an outstanding deal. It only takes 10 minutes to set up, and it fits under the Easy-up valance. I used it for a few trips, but I lost track of it, in all the clutter in my garage (3 bays of everything under the sun).
  • I bought a pop-up tepee style tent to replace it, in 2014 (it doesn't have a floor, but it is super-easy to set up or take down). I paid about $20 for it, on E-bay. It only takes 30 seconds to set up, or put away. I found the "lost" side tent, just last week, but didn't pull it out of the sports tote bag I put it in, back in 2013 (I put it away wet; it might be mildewed). If it's OK, then I'll bring it along on the next trip.

  • Either side tent will work great, but the bigger one has a sewn-in floor, which I favor. I'll be glad to use it again.

I bought one of those too. So when I saw these I thought others might be interested. 40$ isn't a bad price.

Wal-Mart says "Out of Stock", so Wal-Mart! I'm going to see if another site has something similar.

(4/27/17) Walmart shows that FIVE Ozark-Trail-4-Person-ConnecTent-for-Canopy side tents are in stock. The current price is $39.97.

You can clip up to 3 tents into your canopy to sleep up to 12 people and share the common area under the canopy. This canopy tent is a great item to take camping, to music festivals, or for tailgating.

Amazing! Generally, when shopping and it is "out of stock" at Wal-Mart, I never find it there, not to mention that these days, anything desirable, is usually "discontinued".

I encountered the same thing at Walmart recently. I wanted a second canopy, and liked the cost of the Ozark Trail at WM. The website, localized for my store, said they were in stock. Knowing the unreliability of the WM website, I called the store, and they verified the "in stock" status. However, two hours later, as my wife and I arrived to look at the canopies, none of any kind were in stock. I asked the sporting/camping goods clerk why the discrepency, and found out that all had sold out three days before. And, as to "discontinued" items, I find that if I find a new item (usually a BBQ rub or sauce, also usually made locally) that I might like, I'd better buy two or more, because surely WM will not carry it anymore. Is it just me, or does WM do this to confound everbody?
