For starters I currently have a Milliard trifold mattress in my homemade camper. It's a 4 1/2 medium firm base with an 1 1/2 memory foam topper. It's currently flipped over so we're sleeping on the 4 1/2 memory foam base. It's almost perfect for my wife and I. Does anyone know what the density and firmness of the base is on a Milliard trifold? I was curious if it's comparable to an hd 36 foam. Thank you.
A bit off topic but with the Milliard trifold mattress, can it be trimmed down for size using a knife to trim it down..? My teardrop camper bed is 48 in wide by 72 in long. Nearly all mattresses I've seen are 52 in wide x 76 in long as it is with Milliard mattresses..

I did trim mine down. I'm not sure if there's fiberglass in the materials so be careful if you cut it. The cushions are in a cover that is sewed together.
